On Monday, SHATIL, along with 18 Fellows and more than a dozen social change organizations, celebrated the completion of a two year pilot program, which trained a cadre of economists and other professionals to promote socially sensitive government policy.
Through their participation, the Fellows, all senior staff in government offices (including the Ministry of Finance) and other professional bodies, made lasting contributions to some of Israel's leading social change organizations. In addition to theoretical learning, each fellow in the Socioeconomic Policy Shapers Program completed a practicum at an environmental, human rights, advocacy, health, immigrant or other social change organization and developed (or joined) a project there... |
